Bat Walk

Come along to learn about the UK’s only flying mammal – the bat! As dusk falls we will use torches and bat detectors to search for bats, and find out what species may be living locally, and learn about how their amazing nocturnal adaptations. After the bat walk why not join us for some star gazing at the golf course from 9 pm to 10 pm? Discover the cosmic night sky away from the brightness of everyday life, identify some constellations that travellers have used to aid navigation for over a millennia and explore our place within the solar system.
