As well as running sessions as part of the school nature day, the Field Studies Council based in Millport are also running sessions open to all where you can investigate the life at our very own Meigle Beach!
Field Studies Council
The Field Studies Council is a charity that provides school trips, college and university fieldwork, art and nature courses, and more. Celebrating 80 years of environmental education, it offers courses and events at its centres across the UK.
Amy is an experienced outdoor educator, based at the Field Studies Council Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae. She has a background in marine biology and is passionate about sharing her knowledge of the wildlife we can find right on our doorsteps here in the UK.
Rocky Shore Exploration at Meigle Beach
Join us for a guided exploration of the rocky shore. We will search for the creatures that live in the world between the tides, and learn about their adaptations to survive in this dynamic environment!
