Scottish Wildlife Trust & Blooming Inverkip Supporting Skelmorlie!

Scottish Wildlife Trust & Blooming Inverkip are helping the village with some projects that extend beyond the scope of just Skelmorlie Nature Festival.

On Wednesday Scottish Wildlife Trust are helping at Skelmorlie Primary School by clearing out disused raised beds, tidying the surrounding areas, and clearing flower beds.

Skelmorlie Nature Festival have organised 4 tonnes of soil to be delivered to the school which will be used to get the raised beds up to standard for use.

Blooming Inverkip have supported us with invaluable advice and procurement of some plants funded by Skelmorlie Nature Festival, which they will help plant with the school children on the Nature Festival School Takeover on Friday.

We can’t wait to see the before and after of this!
