We’re so excited that the festival is finally here and the sun is shining! We can’t wait to meet you all, thanks for your support and enthusiasm up until this point!
There are a few things to talk about.
Festival Programme
There have been a few wee changes and additions over the last week so make sure you have a look at the up to date festival programme! Festival programmes should be available later today for pickup and on the day of the event at the festival hub. PLease note how to attend the event which is clearly marked on the programme.
Weather
Can you believe that after all this rain the sun is going to shine for us? Amazing turn of events giving us what looks like a mini heat wave and sun for the festival. We don’t think this is enough time to dry out the forest or the playing field so we expect things to get a little squelchy. Dress appropriately for that!
Food
There are no food stalls at the festival, and truth be told the grass is a little wet for a picnic. We suggest you bring your own snacks. There is a local shop and some eateries around the village so you won’t starve! There are taps at most venues so feel free to ask for a water bottle refill.
Shuttle Bus
Most of the events at the Meigle Beach and all the events at the secret garden will be reached by shuttle bus only! Once you register at the hub we’ll give you the information that you need.
A Little Patience Required
This is the first time any of us have created an event like this, we have no idea how many people to expect and we’re all doing it for love (not money)! The volunteers will be doing their utmost to ensure you have the best time possible, but there will undoubtedly be some points to learn from! So we’d be grateful for your patience.
